Network Outage

Atrioxhosting's network is currently offline following enforcement of a new policy by our upstream provider DataPacket. This policy now prohibits DDoS-protected routing, effectively terminating our BGP session and disconnecting all systems from the internet.

While connectivity is lost, all servers and customer data remain completely safe. Nothing has been deleted or damaged, but access is currently impossible until a new upstream connection is established. Internally, we are maintaining backups and configuration data to ensure a smooth recovery once a new route is available.

Negotiations with several potential providers are ongoing. Unfortunately, the pricing landscape has changed dramatically, where Atrioxhosting previously operated around ~€400 per month, comparable services now exceed ~€1.000 per month on average. For instance, Cloudflare has quoted roughly ~€3.500 per month for only 100 Mbit/s of clean traffic. Such costs are far beyond our current operational budget.

Choosing a new upstream provider is not a decision to rush. A hasty move could lead to further instability or another forced migration later, which would only hurt the long-term reliability of Atrioxhosting's network. This process will therefore take time, and no immediate restoration date can yet be given.

Further updates will be posted in our Discord server: https://atrioxhost.com/discord

We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience during this difficult period while we work to rebuild secure and stable connectivity for the Atrioxhosting network.
Edge-AMS-01: From 10 to 50 Gbit/s with Lower Latency✨ on 4 Sep 2025 00:40:49 (UTC+01:00)
Completed
Our Amsterdam edge-node, located in the DFDC facility, has returned stronger than ever. The capacity has been boosted from 10 Gbit/s to 50 Gbit/s, powered by a new Mellanox ConnectX-6 SmartNIC that delivers extreme packet performance. With this relocation and upgrade, connectivity and overall stability have been greatly improved.

Game-nodes also benefit from reduced latency as a result of the full upgrade. In addition, the previous 30-minute downtime caused by GRE issues has now been fully resolved.

This upgrade massively increases our ability to handle large-scale attacks and ensures faster, more reliable protection for all customers. All services are running smoothly again, and Atrioxhosting is now more ready than ever for the future. And this upgrade was just the beginning! We will continue to push for an even faster, more stable & smarter network! We look forward to what the future will bring, and to having you with us on that journey!
Completed
Our migration to DataPacket (AS60068) officially took effect on June 17, 2025, following an initial setup phase that began on May 29, 2025. Since then, we have seen significant improvements. The uplink between Atrioxhosting and DataPacket has become noticeably stronger, with better latency, faster routing convergence, and more accurate mitigation logic. Where previous providers fell short, whether due to delays, ticket deadlocks, or general lack of transparency, we now benefit from direct upstream relationships and real-time engineering-level insight. The difference is clear in how we can operate the network on a daily basis.

Now that we can fully trust our upstream, we are able to accelerate upgrades across our routing logic, mitigation pipeline, and infrastructure resilience. The goal remains unchanged: maximum performance, zero impact, even under pressure. You may occasionally notice brief maintenance windows or routing changes as we continue rolling out deeper architectural improvements. These changes are part of a long-term upgrade cycle focused on infrastructure resilience, smart mitigation, and full-stack independence.
