Downtime due to Heavy DDoS Attacks

Over the past few days, Atrioxhosting has been facing a series of increasingly severe DDoS attacks. These attacks are not your average noise – they are coordinated, persistent, and specifically aimed at taking down core services. Despite the defensive systems we have in place, the scale and frequency of these attacks have pushed beyond what our current infrastructure, in cooperation with our upstream provider Aurologic, is capable of absorbing effectively.

As of now, our systems are down. This includes control panels, client services, game hosting nodes, and auxiliary systems. There is currently no ETA for full restoration. This situation is not just frustrating — it’s heartbreaking. We’ve built Atrioxhosting with care, transparency, and performance in mind. We’ve fought through growing pains, invested in quality hardware, and spent countless hours improving what we offer. To see it temporarily silenced like this is painful.

We want to be clear: this downtime is the result of deliberate malicious action, not internal failure. We have dealt with many attacks in the past, and up until now, our mitigation layers were sufficient. However, this latest wave has exposed the limitations of third-party DDoS protection we’ve long known were problematic — and we’re no longer willing to tolerate those limits.

In an effort to reduce the impact and buy some time, we’ve manually activated additional emergency filters. While this may help block further attack traffic, it also means that many legitimate applications and services may experience connection issues or be completely unreachable. These are harsh, imperfect measures — but they are what we have at this moment.

We know this affects your trust, your uptime, and your projects. And we hate that. We also know many of you have supported us, believed in our mission, and stuck with us through past incidents. We’re not taking that for granted.

This situation is being treated as a top priority, and we are exploring drastic changes to our infrastructure and protection models moving forward. We will not let Atrioxhosting remain vulnerable to outdated, ineffective systems — and we will absolutely not let the actions of a few malicious individuals define our future.

Thank you for your patience,
— The Atrioxhosting Team
